Explorers

Covering the age range from 14 to 18 years, Explorers makes up the fouth part of our Scouting family. We have an active Unit, meeting mainly on a Friday evening, with recent activities including survival camps, gliding, climbing, hikes and challenges.

Our varied programme enables Explorers to progress through their Scouting awards to achieve their Queen Scout Award. In addition we support and encourage participation in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. Also a number of our Explorers act as Young Leaders helping out with the other sections or in another voluntary position.

We have an active partnership with the 5th Reigate welcoming their Scouts when they reach the age of 14.
