Can you inspire?

We are always looking for more adults to get involved in Scouting whether as a uniformed leader, sectional assistant or just an occasional helper. As adult volunteers our role is to inspire our young people to experience new opportunities, learn new skills, enhance their independence and self-confidence, encourage leadership and team work, and to make a positive contribution in today’s society.

Volunteering in Scouting is flexible and can be tailored to suit you so if you can give a little time (or a lot) every minute you give will help improve lives in your community and enable young people to have fun. And along the way you will make new friends, learn new skills and have fun too!

Think you’ve not got the time? Have a look at this video:

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
