Network Scouts

Network Scouts

Although not attached to the 17th Reigate (Network Scouts exist at a District level) many of our Explorers, when they reach age 18, continue into Network where they remain until they reach age 25.

For some this allows them to continue to work towards their Queen Scout Award or their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

For others it’s an opportunity to keep friendships and involvement in local Scouting perhaps becoming a leader.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
