Skills for Life

Formed in 1915 we have around 200 young people aged between 4 and 18 years old, supporting by over 30 adult volunteers providing Scouting across Squirrels (our newest section for 4 to 6 year olds), Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers each week.

We’re pleased to be back to face-to-face Scouting and although on a Summer break, look forward to our sections restarting in September.

Welcome to the17th Reigate Scout Group

The Group was formed by Fr Charles Westlake, the Parish Priest at the time, and has had a long connection to the Parish of the Nativity of the Lord formerly St Joseph’s Catholic Church. Although our heritage is as a Catholic Scout Group we have boys and girls from multi-cultural and multi-faith backgrounds.

We are extremely proud of the diverse, fun, imaginative, challenging and adventurous activities that are offered each week. Please feel free to explore our website for more details and if you would like to get involved please click here.

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
