About Us

Formed in 1915 we have around 200 young people aged between 6 and 18 years old, supporting by over 30 adult volunteers providing Scouting across Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers each week.

One of the largest groups in the Reigate District, the 17th Reigate was started by Fr Charles Westlake, the Parish Priest at the time on 5th March 1915, and has had a long connection to the Parish of the Nativity of the Lord formerly St Joseph’s Catholic Church. Although our heritage is as a Catholic Scout Group we have boys and girls from multi-cultural and multi-faith backgrounds.

We are extremely proud of the diverse, fun, imaginative, challenging and adventurous activities that are offered each week. Please feel free to explore our website for more details and if you would like to get involved please click here.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
